“Introduction to Disaster Relief” is an online course designed to equip individuals with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to serve effectively in disaster response efforts. Developed by Missouri Baptist Disaster Relief (MODR), this course provides an overview of the biblical principles of service, the roles and responsibilities of disaster relief volunteers, and the essential practices for safety, teamwork, and compassion in crisis situations. Through engaging modules, participants will learn how to prepare for deployment, understand the phases of disaster response, and contribute meaningfully to relief efforts.
