Crews from Kansas City area, Macon, and southern Missouri responded after a night tornado in Linneus brought down many trees and damaged several properties.
City Officials estimated 90 percent of the small town’s properties were affected.
The crews did 14 chainsaw jobs, several temporary roof tarp applications, and offered meals for all residents for several days, serving as many as 115 meals.
The Linneus Baptist church and parsonage were damaged, and members from their and Browning area were also effected.
