MODR to assist Ukrainian refugees in Romania

MODR to assist Ukrainian refugees in Romania

MBC Disaster Relief (MODR) will be partnering with Send Relief International to provide help for Ukraine refugees fleeing their war-torn nation. Volunteers are planning to serve in a station in Romania on the Ukraine border. Current plans are to provide a roadside tent shelter assisting the refugees coming from the border crossing. Food, water and cell phone recharging will be offered. There may be some assistance provided at a shelter in Bucharest.

Current plans are for MODR volunteers to join with Souther Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC) and California Souther Baptist Convention (CSBC) DR volunteers to go and begin serving in late March.

Missouri Baptists may offer help, hope, and healing for these oppressed refugees by praying and giving. The website https://modr.org/ukraine can receive financial donations and will have additional information and updates.
